OUR MISSION
The LEGACY 473
The Legacy 473, at its core, is an athlete-centered community. Our primary objective is to establish a dynamic platform where Grenadian national athletes can engage and connect with a rapidly expanding network of fellow Grenadian athletes, both present and past, as well as key stakeholders from around the world.
Members of The Legacy 473 can exchange best practices and experiences, enhance their skill sets, and collaborate in strengthening the bonds of sports in Grenada, Carriacou, and Petite Martinique.
The Grenada Athletes’ Commission Initiative, inspired by the success of the Grenada Athletes’ Commission, is dedicated to bolstering the support for Grenadian national athletes. Our aim is to equip them with the essential resources for learning, connecting, sharing, and growing.
Themed around entrepreneurship and business, the acronym LEGACY: Leadership and Development, Empowerment, Guidance & Resources, Athlete Success, Career Transition & Yielding Excellence.

The Commission serves as a bridge between sports disciplines and the Grenada Olympic Committee, offering feedback on issues affecting athletes, such as athlete welfare, athlete development, anti-doping policies, and other sports-related matters. TheLegacy473 has been created by Athletes for Athletes, an initiative spearheaded by the Grenada Athletes’ Commission with the aim of providing support to all athletes within the local community.
